I have gone to nearly every pilates studio in Dallas over the past 10 years, Kiva has the BEST instructors. They take the time to be precise on movements and explain exactly what muscles you should be engaging which is critical for classic pilates.

I highly recommend this studio for both beginners and advanced students as I believe form is the most important part of pilates practice. Not to mention the studio is absolutely STUNNING. Do your body a favor and skip the “power pilates” studios that have 10+ reformers in each class. At Kiva you will receive advice that is personalized to your body and posture. This is now the only pilates studio in Dallas I go to.

This place is amazing! After going to the studio consistently for a few months, I can see and feel significant changes in my body. This is the only workout I have ever found myself wanting to come back to week after week.

Janine and the other instructors truly take the time to work with their clients as individuals, especially in a group class. In the world of crazy, trendy workouts, Kiva is an amazing place to come and work with kind, intentional people. Pilates can be an intimidating environment sometimes, but Kiva is the place to start, even if you have no experience. This is so rare to find in an instructor, much less a whole studio!

Kiva Pilates has a cool, crisp, and nurturing mood to it. Lighting comes from the windows filtered sun and the cool ambient lighting throughout the space. No drill sergeant routine here. Instructors are all highly skilled, compassionate, amusing, and fun to work with. They encourage me to push myself only to my limits on any particular day. Pilates isn’t just physical, it’s mental. My mind cannot wonder because I’m too focused; it requires a lot of concentration. I always get two focused experiences in one session. With all my heart, I recommend Kiva. Students range from 20s to 70s, so with the wide array of abilities, there is much flexibility to my training. I’m 62, and I believe Pilates keeps my mind and my body strong, fluid, and balanced. I love Kiva.
